Victoria has always had a passion for animals and medicine. At the age of three she began riding horses which quickly became her favorite hobby. Growing up Victoria could either be found at the barn or outside playing in the woods. She has always known that her calling in life was working with animals. She was a kennel hand while in high school at her local veterinary hospital.
After high school Victoria attended the University of New Hampshire where she graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Pre-veterinary medicine with a minor in Equine Science. In her junior year Victoria traveled to South Africa for a three week study abroad mission. While in Africa she shadowed a wildlife veterinarian, worked on game reserves, and volunteered at the SPCA. She was able to work with lion cubs, rhinoceroses, elephants, exotic birds, reptiles, and various species of antelope.
Victoria worked as a large animal technician before returning to small animal. She is married to her high school sweetheart. Victoria and her husband adopted two rescue dogs - Jaxon, a hound from Utah, and Montana, a shepherd mix from South Carolina. Victoria owns her own horse and spends her free time riding, teaching lessons, and hiking with her dogs.
